The Cross-Continental Cooperation Summit of 2013-4 is a culmination of 8 events taking place across the globe. The events take place in major capital cities including Berlin, Washington D.C., Skopje, Addis Ababa, Brussels, Moscow, and Beijing, with the continents of Europe, North America, Africa and Asia playing host to the events. The Summit focuses on the potential success for improved intercultural relations in uniting the great powers of the contemporary world to better face today's global concerns.

The Summit creates a forum for the world's superpowers representatives to publicly discuss and promote upon a common goal, thus initiating potential solutions for contemporary and future world challenges while keeping individual interests at heart. The ultimate aim of the Summit is to create a more stable public global environment by promoting intercultural dialogue between nations, consequently bringing the international community closer to a more prosperous future.

Participation in the Summit events are open to applicants coming from the governmental and diplomatic fields, academia & scholars, representatives from the civil society and private sector, journalists, artists, young professionals and students. Participation in the Beijing and Moscow events are by invitation only.

The recent deterioration of US-Russian relations was made more evident by President Obama's decision to cancel an official meeting with President Putin and by the tense negotiations on the Syrian Crises. These events highlight an urgent need for the International Community to take action to enhance cross-continental cooperation. This current situation between Russia and the US clearly defines the significant differences of opinion on policies between the world's most influential leaders, thus making it evident that appropriate measures must be taken globally in order to ensure that further development of international inter-connectivity remains secured and sustainable.

The "Washington, D.C. Summit on Cross-Continental Cooperation" explored the ways in which intercultural dialogue and cultural exchange can be utilized effectively in order to achieve a successful cross-continental coalition. (read the agenda)
